About this site

Who publishes GHB Experience, how the decision tree and the facts are put together and checked, and why the only product link goes to Dutch-Smart.

Updated 2 min read

GHB Experience is published by the team behind Dutch-Smart, a Dutch smartshop. Dutch-Smart sells the Dope or Nope GHB test, and the product links on this site go to that shop. When you buy through such a link, we earn from the sale. Dutch-Smart does not sell GHB or GBL, and neither does this site.

We say this first because it matters for how you read the rest. People search for what GHB does, what to do when a friend goes out, and how to tell whether a drink was spiked. Many top results are written by addiction clinics, and much of the rest is forum talk. We wanted one calm place, readable on a phone in a dark room, that tells you the next step and shows where every fact comes from.

How the information is put together

  • The decision tree follows first-aid guidance from St John Ambulance, FRANK and Trimbos (Drugs & Uitgaan). It is no replacement for the emergency operator: when you call 112, follow their instructions.
  • Facts about GHB, GBL, combinations and dependence come from DRUGSinfo and the Nationale Drug Monitor (Trimbos Institute), FRANK, the NHS and peer-reviewed studies. Studies are linked where we use them.
  • Dutch figures come from the Trimbos Monitor Drugsincidenten and the Nationale Drug Monitor.
  • The legal status is taken from the law texts themselves, with the date we checked them.
  • We make no medical or health claims of any kind, give no dosage advice and do not explain how to get or make GHB.

Every page shows when it was last updated. Laws and products change; if something here is out of date or wrong, Dutch-Smart's customer service can pass it on to us.

Why the test, and why dopeornopetest.com

The one product on this site is a reagent test, because the most useful thing to know about an unknown liquid is whether it holds GHB at all, before anyone drinks it. A test cannot show the strength, and we say so on every page where it appears. We link to dopeornopetest.com, the official site of the Dope or Nope brand, because it explains how the test works and how to read the result.

Who is behind the shop

The Dutch-Smart mascot, a lion with a mane of leaves, raising one finger next to a light bulb

Dutch-Smart is a smartshop in the Netherlands. It ships from the Netherlands and sells only to adults. This site is for adults (18+) and is information only. In an emergency, call 112.
